Welcome all to my dream project! In my poetry books, you know me as Penny Sage, a name a teenager gave herself for courage to venture beyond the scope of her known world. I founded Remedy Reads because I had a dream to help many people, regardless of differences, to see the world whole, connected, and restored.
In my youth, books opened up many doors in my life. Through the art of story, I discovered how to understand people, empathize, and how to grapple with the many lessons I endured and eventually overcame. Story has always been central to who I am and how I engage with the world around me.
Through the stories I create for children and adults alike, I hope to inspire kinship, light, and a resilience strong enough to radiate brighter than any darkness. No matter how small, kindness and love create the ripples that move mountains. Through communities, states, and countries, I will brighten souls 1 person at a time.
It’s been a whirlwind adventure to become an entrepreneur! Making my book, illustrating it, designing it (with some help lol), and ultimately publishing and marketing! Nothing worth having comes without struggle. It’s taught me so much of what I’m capable of, what it means to sacrifice for your dreams, and that anything is achievable! But, this couldn’t have been possible without the support and encouragement of my family, friends, and people who helped make my book come to fruition!
